1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the EV4-U website and services provided by Premier Electrical Leicester Ltd, trading as EV4-U ("we", "our", or "us"). By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

EV4-U provides:

• Home EV charger supply and installation
• Free home surveys to assess installation requirements
• OZEV grant application assistance
• Aftercare and warranty support

3. Booking and Surveys

• Home surveys are provided free of charge with no obligation.
• Survey appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.
• You must ensure safe access to your property for our engineers.
• Quotes provided following surveys are valid for 30 days.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• The quoted price includes the charger unit and standard installation.
• Additional work required beyond standard installation may incur extra charges, which will be discussed and agreed before work commences.
• Payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept payment by bank transfer or card.
• OZEV grants (where eligible) will be applied to reduce your final invoice.

5. Installation

• All installations are carried out by NAPIT-approved electricians.
• Installation typically takes 3-4 hours for standard installations.
• You must ensure someone over 18 is present during installation.
• We require clear access to the installation area and your consumer unit.
• Any unforeseen issues discovered during installation will be discussed with you before proceeding.

6. OZEV Grant

• We can apply for the OZEV grant on your behalf where you are eligible.
• Eligibility is determined by government criteria which may change.
• Grant approval is subject to government approval and is not guaranteed.
• The grant value (up to £350) will be deducted from your invoice if approved.

7. Warranties

• Charger units come with the manufacturer's warranty (typically 3 years).
• Our installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months.
• Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or third-party interference.
• You will receive all warranty documentation upon completion.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel a booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled installation without charge.
• Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
• If you cancel after equipment has been ordered specifically for you, you may be liable for restocking fees.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation.

9. Liability

• We maintain full public liability insurance for all installation work.
• Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
• We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
• We are not responsible for issues arising from your electrical supply or property.

10. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your property and electrical system.
• Ensure you have any necessary permissions (e.g., from landlords or freeholders).
• Provide safe access to your property.
• Ensure parking is available near the installation location.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Premier Electrical Leicester Ltd (trading as EV4-U) and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

12. Complaints

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
